It's going by too fast!

Guess who is ONE MONTH old...?!

Little Miss Poppy Ballerina!!!  I can't believe how quickly the last month has passed...

We have had a few changes to get used to, but it has been way less traumatic than I had anticipated before Poppy was born.  Spreading out my attention has the biggest challenge, but I'm getting so much better at it, so it's less threatening for Scarlett and she is working on not being in Poppy's face to give love.  She just wants to gobble her up, and Poppy is not having it!  Things are going so well, and I think that the transition has been so smooth because Poppy really is an angelbaby!

Poppy eats every hour or two, which cramps my social life with Scarlett's daily activities, but I just wrap Poppy in the moby wrap and that puts her to sleep until I can get home/to the jeep to nurse her.  So far, Poppy has been to the library, Scarlett's toddler time and "school" (play group), Governor's Restaurant (a few times!) and Friendly's, Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place, Bath & Body Works, and Walmart.  Lots of shopping and she's always great...as long as I don't keep her in her car seat!  She is not a fan!

To leave the house, we do have to put Poppy in her car seat (obviously!), so the activity has to be pretty important to get us to leave the house.  It must be worth the trouble!  She cries and fusses as soon as she's strapped in.  The only things that can get her calmed down are her WubbaNub and just the movement of the jeep.  Not fun.  But it's the only difficult thing about her!

Smiles!

SO. MUCH. NEWS.

Molly, Scarlett, me, Alyssa, Grammum, Tyler, Mary, Louisa

Clearly, March was not a successful blogging month for me.  I have been distracted and sick and then as more time went by, the harder it was for me to get back into my groove, so I just stayed away.  So to ease my way back into blogging, I'm doing a list!  Here it goes...

  1. I'M PREGNANT!  We found out super-early.  (February 20th) So I had to wait and wait for a successful ultrasound where they could actually see something (waiting is painful!), and so finally at 7 weeks, we saw the baby and heard the heartbeat!  Baby 2 is due on October 27, 2012.
  2. Scarlett is already calling Baby 2 her sister...we hope she's right!  ;)  Although this family really could use a BOY!
  3. Lulu was on the FRONT PAGE of Sunday's paper!!!  Adorable!
  4. We cancelled Scarlett's surgery on her teeth.  It was a huge, very difficult decision to make, but after many sleepless nights, we decided to cancel.  Scarlett's teeth are getting worse, but I just couldn't imagine putting her to sleep and having such an invasive (IMO) procedure done for cosmetic reasons.  It felt wrong.  We'll decide if we're going to have her bad teeth pulled once she turns three.
  5. On a more light-hearted note, The Only Way Is Essex rocks my world (during nap times)!!!!  I am addicted!!!  I love Lauren and Mark and Kirk and even Lucy!!!  I do miss Amy, though.  You will talk with a British accent in your head after watching this show.  Swear.
  6. Morning sickness sucks.  I thought that I was "sick" with Scarlett, but it turns out, I was being a drama queen!  With Baby 2, I have been siiiiiick since 5 weeks along.  Not. Fun.
  7. On a positive note, now that I'm 11 weeks, I'm feeling like I might survive this pregnancy!!
  8. I have packed away the cloth diapers because Scarlett is potty trained!!!  Woohoo!!!   At night, she is still wearing a pull-up.  We're waiting until she goes a week with a dry diaper to try undies at night.  Her dry diapers are the norm, but every third night, she'll pee a little.  During the day, though, she is totally potty trained!  The first few days she had three accidents and then nothing!!!  Now we pick out fun, new undies when we go to the store!  (because I never do laundry!)
  9. Tyler is in Texas until the 26th with the catastrophe team...being a single parent is tough.  Yay for live-in entertainment AKA Auntie Mary and Lulu!  Oh!  Scarlett says, "Lulu" now instead of "Nenu."  It is hilarious to hear her stumble over those L's!!!!  Cutie-cutes!
  10. Scarlett thinks this is "her song."  LOVE it!  I am obsessed with it, too, which makes me almost as bad as Mary.  She downloaded Justin Bieber's new song.  Shameful.
  11. I just want to see a new picture of Blue Ivy.  I got all excited when it was announced that Beyonce released a new website, but there are no new baby pictures.  Bummer.
  12. Now that Baby 2 is coming, I have to figure out a way to get Scarlett out of our bedroom and into her own room...wish me luck.  :-/
  13. Bloom came out last week and to prolong the book, I've been going back to read Kelle's blog posts from around the time that the events in the book were taking place.  Normal fan or a little bit obsessed?!
  14. After her family, Scarlett's most favorite person in the entire world is our "mail-mail."  She diiiiies when he hands her the mail and if there's a package, that just confirms the fact that the "mail-mail" loves her back.  Turns out, I like to shop online, so the "mail-mail" brings lots of packages.  AND Tyler used to collect beanie babies (If I had known this, I'm not so sure I would have still married him!) and my MIL thinks it's that Scarlett needs all. of. them.  So every few weeks, more beanie babies arrive.  Great.
  15. We are keeping our house!  I'm feeling more settled now that we've made a decision, but also disappointed that I'll be here for a few more years.  We met with a realtor and he was pretty sure that we'd have to take a significant loss if we wanted to sell in a reasonable time, so we're going to keep doing small upgrades and wait for the market to get better!
  16. Has Jessica Simpson had her baby?  Apparently, OK! Magazine thought she would have had her baby girl by the time the latest issue hit news stands because this is their cover.

Its Official.

I am a blog creeper.  Ew.  (That's one of Scarlett's new words!)  I read all of my favorite blogs on a daily basis for the last few months, but have yet to actually post on my very own blog.  Slacker!  Or really it's a lot of laziness/Mary's here, so she knows all of my news.  Shame on me, though, because I use this blog as a baby book-ish record of Scarjo's babyhood and I have missed some pretty big things...

Take, for example, her only second Halloween ever.  I never wrote about how she was the leader of the pack, marching up all those stairs with some 'tude because she wanted her CANDY.  Her costume was a bat, btw.  Mary and I dressed Louisa and Scarlett as the same thing because nothing is cuter than a bat, other than TWO bats with shiny, black Mary Janes.  CUTIE-CUTES!  And we felt ironic because the last thing you'd expect these two sweet, innocent little ones to be dressed as are gross, creepy bats.  You'd expect princesses with frilly tutus, which will probably happen next year...  Not gonna lie, Scarjo has a thing for tutus.  I am not sure why, but I didn't see that one coming!  I thought Alyssa Lou was the tutu-wearer in the fam!

Another unblogged about event was Lulu's first birthday!  Worst. Aunt. Ever.  It was also the worst party ever, so samesies!  OMG, my family + the Clunies = AWKWARD DISASTER!  Mary and I tried to save it with our sparkling personalities, but Mary-Anne LaMarre (aka: Fancy Mum) was in the house and there was just no way around the completely uncomfortable divide that was at that party.  Next year, no in-laws!  Brian will be back, though, so yay!  Or maybe just two parties...or have the party on neutral ground (23 Morrill/our new pad because we best be selling this shizzzz!)...just a few ideas, Mar-wad!

Speaking of birthdays, Scarjo's 2nd one is right around the corner.  Holy cannoli, how did that happen?!?!  She is almost freakin' two.  Time for more babies, ASAP!  Not even kidding...

I'm thinking no party for this year, though.  Sads for me Scarlett, but I just cannot handle the in-laws (us Beal girls have some issues, eh?).  For reals, though...I'm having nightmares of my MIL trying to steal my little Miss Scarlett.  Like legit nightmares.  Something's got to change...and I'm thinking that Thanksgiving and Christmas are all the in-laws that my poor little stress-ball self can handle.  I do want to have a little get together with my friends, so that we celebrate Scarlett turning two in a mini way!  We'll see...!  Let's be honest, I just want to dress her in a personalized 2nd birthday outfit.  But they're so cute!

Something else that is blog-worthy/hilarious; Scarlett thinks that Louisa is her own personal real live baby doll.  She tries to walk her, brush her hair, push her in the baby strollers...you get the drift.  Scarjo may also try to get on top of her to pig pile and sometimes rides her like a horse and says, "neigh!!!"  We're working on that! It is pretty entertaining, to say that least!  Poor Neiners!  (It rhymes with "weiners!"  Oh, did I not mention that is Louisa's nickname?  We can thank Scarlett for that one!)

Almost two is a pretty fantastic age, I will admit, even though she's turning into a child right before my eyes!  Scarlett calls Da, Santa, and Auntie Molly on the phone all. the.time.  She sits there, laughing, and then says, "funny!  no...yeah...Mamy, Mummy, Neinu...yeah, no, hahaha, funny!"  If it's Santa, though, she'll add an, "I nice!  Baby ease!"  It is probably my favorite thing to watch her do...I'll have to record that sometime!

So Christmas is only 15 days away!!!  Mostly all of my presents are wrapped and under the tree.  Woohoo! I know that there are going to be lots of last minute things that I'll have to do, so I'm pretty excited to be this far finished.

Lately, other than Christmas shopping, Mary, Lulu, Scarjo, and I have been going to Rhyme Time at the library, Toddler Time at the Alfond Youth Center, and socializing with Grammum and Alyssa at Cam's soccer and gymnastics practices!  Fun times in the 'ville!

Ok, now for new picturesssss!  This is the fun part:)

Stealing Mum's "wa-wa-yeah."

Weirdo!  She likes to play under tables.

Ba-BAM! Two in a Row, Ladies!

Sooo, I've been busy this summer/haven't been in the mood for blogging.  I'm not really sure why.  It's not for lack of material; Scarjo is doing so many new and fun things!  I swear every new month kills me because she's becoming less and less MY baby, but also I love it because she is just becoming more and more A-MAZ-ING!  I know it's super-cliche to say that it keeps getting better and better, but it's absolutely the truth.

Now we're in month NINETEEN.  Ahhh!  Scarlett is talking up a storm, beginning to potty train, aaaand I'm trying to wean her.  (I know, she's a billion years old, cannot believe I'm STILL nursing!)  I just love it and it's a comfort to her/she insists on it, so there you are.  I have no idea how I'm actually going to follow through with weaning at this point.  We do "fake" nursing (don't even ask!) for comfort when she wakes up in the middle of the night (oh, yes, she's still sleeping with us, too!)  and she's starting to catch on to that, so I'm at a lose as to what to do!  I know I could cold turkey her, but that just doesn't fit our family.  So, as of this afternoon naptime, we're still nursing to fall asleep.  (So much for her being less of my baby, huh?!  Ha!)

A fun game we like to play with Scarlett is to make her say the names of all our family members to hear her cute pronunciation.  Here are our favorites:

Mummy/Mummysssss  (Me)  I cheer everytime she says it -- I cannot hear it enough!  We're working on, "Mummy, I love you!"  Hehehe!
Daaaaa! (Tyler)  I blame Mary.
Mam-wee (Mary)
Mom-meee (Molly)
Naanaa (Lulu)  Those L's are tricky!
Bra-neee (Brian)
Grammie (Grammum)  Watch out, Nancy, MA is taking over Grammie...and not even on purpose!
And "Alyssa" is just a bunch of sounds, it's different every time Scarjo tries to say it.

Scarjo is the most fun!  I cannot believe I forgot to post this video.  Enjoy her hilariousness!!!

(Sorry about it's crookedness...totally blame Tyler.)  This was in June, her dance moves are getting even better, if you can believe it.

Let's Compare...

So, there's been this thing going on in our families ever since Scarlett was born, about who she looks the most like.  And by thing, I mean disagreement.  When she was first born, she was crazy scary looking.  So unbelievably not cute that I contemplated changing her name.  Seriously.  Had I wasted my favorite name on a baby that looks like the sea creatures from The Little Mermaid?  I sure hoped not, but from day one, it was looking like she was all Tyler.  (not that there's anything wrong with that, just sayin')  He was happy that it wasn't the mailman's baby (his hilarious running joke), but was sort of hoping that she'd look at least a little bit like me.  And so the argument discussion began...!  Every new picture that I'd post on my facebook page would warrant a comment from Tyler's family members saying how she looks "soooo much like Tyler when he was a baby" or "I know you hate to hear this, but she looks just like Tyler."  One of aunts was so obnoxious that I just blocked her from even viewing my pictures.  It sounds like I am a bitter, eh?  Well, it's really a silly thing to discuss anymore because Scarlett is (finally) just a cute little lady and whether she looks like Tyler or like me, I obviously still love her bunches x100!  But let's compare...just for fun...!

We are all pretty cute little kids.  My mom and I agree that even Tyler doesn't look like baby Tyler!  I'd say that Scarlett's a pretty good mix-up of us both; my hair, eyes, and eyebrows - Tyler's lips, twinkle toes, and chin.

When she was just a few days old, I told you, sea. creature.

Yeesh.

My Big Girl

Little Miss Katie Scarlett is FIFTEEN months old!  Time is going by too quickly for me, but we are still nursing at nap time and bed time, so I'm cherishing it while it lasts.  (I am a little concerned that it may never end, too!)  As a 15-month-old, Scarlett's favorite thing to do is anything that I'm doing; works for me!  She follows me around the house and mimics what I'm doing.  She'll "help" me put the dishes away by taking tupperware from the cupboard and putting it back into the dishwasher and she empties her clean clothes from the basket by picking them up, whipping them in the air (like she sees me do when I fluff them before I fold them) and then just drops them on the floor and dives in for the next piece of clothing!  When I change her diaper, Scarlett likes to have a wipe, too, that she uses to wipe herself while I do it.  So sweet and I just think she is the smartest baby ever!  So far, I'm enjoying 15 months as the best age...!

Self-weaning?!

Scarlett will be 15 months in two weeks.  We are still co-sleeping and breastfeeding.  She doesn't nurse to eat, she mostly just lets it soothe her to sleep.  We nurse once during the day and she falls right asleep for her nap.  (The upsides are that is she is my little baby again for that 1-2 block of time and she's on my lap, so it's impossible to clean!  Ahhh, hello blogger!)  And then we nurse periodically throughout the night when she wakes up; I use nursing to soothe her back to sleep quickly.  (she never took to a pacifier)  Once she hit one year old, I started to warm up to the idea of weaning, but I honestly just love nursing and never want it to end, however, I was beginning to get nervous that Scarlett would never self-wean.  On top of nursing and co-sleeping, during Scarlett's entire life, I've just been following her lead.  We never had a set schedule; so she would sleep or eat whenever she wanted/needed to.  This worked for us because we were lucky enough to have me stay home with her full-time.  (obviously, hence the name, "Staying Home with Scarlett.")  If I could know that Scarlett would wean at a certain age, I would not be worried at all, but weaning seems to be creeping into my thoughts and blogs that I've been reading a lot lately and Scarlett still seems content to nurse.  Baby-led weaning has been the way I had always envisioned the end to Scarlett nursing, but then I stumbled across this article and have been really considering it for our family.  I love that Dr. Gordon encourages a family bed and that his method is not about complete weaning, just nighttime weaning.  For the past three nights, I have been putting off trying to start the twn day process until there was a night where I wasn't too exhausted to have enough patience.  And then an amazing thing happened...Scarlett put herself to sleep!  Just like that.  We did our regular bedtime routine and I still nursed her, but she was restless and kept flipping herself onto her belly and make silly faces at me or singing until I joined in (I know it was counterproductive to join her singing and giggle at her silly faces, but she is just irresistable!).  The fourth time that she flipped herself over, she scooched right up, rested her head on my pillow, and just layed there snuggled up against me.  Eventually, I felt her heavy, rhythmic breathing and knew she had asleep.  Words cannot describe how happy I am!  Going forward, I'm going to continue to trust my instincts and trust that Scarlett will lead the way in what works for her!
PS--Although, if she's still nursing and I'm STILL not sleeping through the night and it becomes an issue, I'm so using the nighttime weaning method...fingers crossed it doesn't get to that though...!

PPS--On an unrelated note, I gave Scarlett a cloth and told her to wash her face.  Instead, she opened up her mouth and started "brushing" her teeth.  We clearly still need to work on our body parts...!

Funniest. Morning. Ever.

With my camera on the fritz and still waiting for my new one to arrive in the mail, I feel like I'm missing TONS of crazy Scarlett-isms (all of her cute outfits, too!)...so I'm whipping out a quick post about the funniest morning ever...

Scarlett has always loved mirrors.  She stares at herself in every mirror she spots, she gives herself love and kisses, she makes funny faces at our reflections and her's.  There is a full-length mirror in our upstairs hall, so she has lots of time in front of it!  Well, this morning, I was walking into her room, but she had stayed behind to play with her bath toys outside of the tub (I had just rinsed them and she was throwing them back into the tub.  Awesomeness.).  To grab her attention, I started singing, "Come see Mum!  Come, come see Mum!"  You know, your typical mommy rap.  Well, she started to walk into the hallway, spotted her reflection, started bopping her head and swinging her arms, and shaking her biscuits!  She was full-on dancing to my mommy jam while watching herself in the mirror.

It was hilarious!  Maybe you just had to be there, but it started my Monday of well!

Dear Britney

I seem like a total blogging slacker due to my lack of posts, but really I'm an over-achiever blogger who never can seem to get the post actually typed out from what's written in my head.  I wake up most nights around 3am and write post after post.  Last week, I wrote letters to Britney.  Her new album was released last Tuesday and I really felt, at 3am, Britney needed some serious advice (something like, "Um, you're almost 30 and a mother to two young children.  Let's chill with the dance club tunes and get a little more creative/mature.")  I love me some Britney Spears, but I also want her to grow up.  And, on top of her cheesy dance music, she seems to be not really all there.  Like she's taken just a few too many anxiety pills and she's reeeeally mellow.  It makes me sad to watch her performances because, to me, it looks like she'd rather be doing a million other things.  She reminds me of a circus elephant.  Sads for Britney; if only she lived closer, so we could do play dates!  ;)

Anyway, my point is that I blog LOTS...in my head.  That sorts counts!  I read this post a minute ago and realized that I don't really need to make sacrifices to be a more active blogger and I should not use it as an excuse to quit the gym, but I am not the only one who struggles to make time to blog and that instead of stalking, I should write a post, so here I am...

A crazy thing happened today.  I read Parenting magazine, from cover to cover, in one sitting.  How did I manage that with a 14 month old, you might ask?  Well, it was really amazing!  Alyssa, my niece, was still napping, so Scarlett and I had to be really quiet.  I just grabbed the magazine and Scarlett and headed up to the playroom.  I sat on the floor and started reading and Scarlett walked around the room playing and managed to ENTERTAIN HERSELF for an entire hour!  It was heaven!  Every once in a while, she'd mosey on over and we'd look at the babies and she would say, "Baby!" in her high-pitched squeaky voice that she uses for any baby, kitty, or puppy.  Cuteness!  And then she'd just move on to the next thing that piqued her interest.  It was the first magazine that I have read since Scarlett was born!  This is huge!  I feel like we've entered into a whole new stage and I'm excited about it!

My old camera has DIED.  It may have something to do with the fact that I let Scarlett and Alyssa take their own pictures with it (I love to see what they see from their perspective!  Tyler doesn't appreciate it as much!) or that I drop it all. the. time. Either way, my picture selection is pretty slim.  Luckily for me, I have a sister with a camera and pictures to hijack until my camera arrives in the mail!  Enjoy a view into our 2 weeks with the Clunies!

Scarlett's new thing...at least she's entertained while I shop!

Sprinkles everywhere!

TWO New Things

  1. Scarjo gave me kisses...and I didn't even have to beg!  This is huge.  Of course, I freaked out and squealed and jumped up and down with her; I want to encourage this new act of affection!  She has three different kinds of kisses.  Sometimes she'll just bash her head into my face (she's imitating me kissing her all over, I think.), other times she'll open her mouth up really wide and go slowly for your lips (I love even the soggy, wet ones!), and then sometimes she'll put her lips together and smoosh them into my lips!  It's just makes me so happy that she's such a lovey baby.
  2. Tonight, Scarlett learned, "head."  She was babbling away and touching her head, so I told her what it is and after she kept touching her head and I said, "head."  After a few practices, I said, "Scarlett, where's your head?" and she patted her head.  Smart baby.

Thirteen Months and Two Days.

Lovin' those mixed berries for breakfast!
She's thirteen months old now, so I really need to write a post about Scarlett because this blog is a huuuge chunk of what I use as a baby book.  I know, I know, I've been neglecting this blog, so that tells you how great I am at keeping a record of my only child's first year of life.  Yikes.  Sooo, here's a Scarjo update:

Her favorite things to eat are bananas, blueberries, cheese, tomato sauce, and fruit strips.  Now this is bizarre because Scarlett wouldn't touch fruits until a few months ago; she much preferred veggies.

Scarlett CAN crawl and walk when holding onto something!  Phew!  Woohoo!

Choo Choo Soul makes her world a better place.  As much as I'm against television, I (kind of.) approve of Choo Choo Soul.  First of all, Alyssa watched it constantly and she turned out perfect!  (not sure if that counts as a very educated reason, but I had to include it because I totally use it as rationalization.)  Secondly, Scarlett only watches it on Tyler's cell phone screen either when she's having a freak out or while I'm showering.  Anything is okay, in moderation, right?!  Third on my list, it's FUN!   I love the music, the fact that it's educational, and the fact that Scarlett's learning new things.  (I know I just sounded like Mum.)  She now says, "Choo choo!" to the train that goes around the Governor's restaurant.

Scarlett would much rather play with electronics, shoes, art projects, light switches, and bottles of pills that rattle than any of her own crazy-amounts of toys.  This makes my life just a bit more challenging, but that's okay.

She screeches to get something she wants--we really need to work on new words.  She knows choo choo, Rex, hot, blow, mum, and that puppies say, "ruff ruff!"  Scarjo also knows what NO means.  When I tell her "no," though, she just starts to cry and push away anything that's near her.  (Just one example of when she turns into monsterbaby.)

Not being a monsterbaby here!

She loves to dance!

As of 2/19, she weighed 18lbs and 9oz.

Scarlett enjoys playing with other kids.  So far, she's met kids at the gym daycare, playdates with Delia, Greyson, Maeve, the Stout boys, open swim, and Alyssa Lou!

For things to do, we go outside for walks, clean the house, go grocery shopping, to the gym, and to open swim.  We read books and hold hands while she practices walking.  She can entertain herself with toys on the floor while I cook, but she usually wants to help out!

Scarlett was 21" long on 2/1/11.
Looking a little tired.

Valentine's Day with Little Miss!

Yes, she still sleeps with us.

Playing on Alyssa's new bed!

Scarlett's (almost) ONE.

Scarlett had her first birthday party!  Her actual birthday isn't until the 19th, but Tyler's family was in town the weekend before, so my mom decided to host a party!  BOTH sides of families were there, together, for the first time. Quite a scene!  Her party was a success, so that was fantastic that it worked out.  My absolute favorite part was her outfit!  I found a great Etsy store called Sticky Noodles.  I had a lot of changes and a close deadline and still Brandi managed to get the outfit to Maine a day early.  Amazing!  Pictures to come!  (or you can get a sneak peek and check out my header!)

PS--HAPPY 2011!

Scarlett's 1st Thanksgiving

It was a hit!  Here's a little background of our family tradition on Turkey Day...we go out!  My mom cannot cook to save her soul, so it's always been a family tradition to go to The Senator.  They have an amazing Thanksgiving buffet with the BEST EVER dessert table in the universe!  Just ask Molly, she's the dessert expert and makes it her goal to visit the desserts at least 13 times.  True story.  Anyway, so whether we went with our family of 6 from our childhood, or with our crazy, crazy, crazy ass Uncle, or random fiances of my mother's, or with childhood favorites (yay, blog shout-out to Liz!!!), we have ALWAYS  gone to The Senator.

LOVE:)

Fast forward three months, and my insanely insane mother has gotten herself married to a man who cooks.  And not only that, he has been planning on preparing our Thanksgiving feast.  Like there is no possibility that we're going out as a new family of 8.  Um, what?!  No crazy-fun car rides blasting Christmas music?  No thirteen trips to the buffet?  No pictures taken in the over-sized chair?  No pictures taken of all of us next to the dessert table, just to make Mary jealous??  No pecan bread???????????  WTF kind of Thanksgiving is that?!  This was my mentality going into yesterday.  I was bummed...and a little bit P.Oed.  But if I'm hating life bummed, then Tyler gets grumpy and annoyed with my mom, so I had to put on a happy face (to save Scarlett's 1st Thanksgiving!), blasted the Christmas music, and decided to have fun! (after consuming copious amounts of DD coffee!)

As you can see, Thanksgiving was a blast!  Things may have been a little different than we were used to, but it was a definite success.  Camdyn was nice to Alyssa (this. is. HUGE!), Mum's desserts rivaled The Senator's, table talk was fun & light-hearted (even though Molly was prepared!  ;), and we all left STUFFED full of yummy food.  I feel like new traditions have been started and I'm pretty much okay with that!  There's no denying that I WILL find a new reason to dine at The Senator and eat my body weight in their pecan bread...

Oh!  P.S.--Does anyone know how to add text or pictures to a heading without photoshop??  The new header is my reminder to figure it out...that clearly hasn't been going well!

P.S.S.-- Scarlett's newest thing is clapping!!!  And dancing!  All the timeeeeeeeeee!  So sweet!

This was after dinner, and I forgot a bib, so she was a mess!
